Unirea Urziceni – Liverpool 1-3 Video Highlights and Goals

Unirea Urziceni has been defeated by Liverpool after they took the lead in min 19, when Bruno Fernandez scored.  Unirea’s evolution was pretty good until their captain Galamaz left the game after a sever injury. Galamaz is maybe most important player from Unirea’s team and his absence from defense was evident because Liverpool scored two goals in the following minutes. The authors were J. Mascherano (with an excellent shot from about 20 meters) and R. Babel.

After first half, the score was 1-2. In the second half Steven Gerrard scored for 3-1 and this was the final goal, even if  Unirea Urziceni had some opportunities until the end.

For Unirea Urziceni this was last game in Europa this season, but for this small team from Romania was just final game from a great series started in Champions League at their first presence. Also, an important thing: If we count this game too, Unirea Urziceni played only 10 games in European Competitions and they had a draw with Hamburg, a draw with Stuttgart, a victory at Glasgow with Rangers and than another draw after that at Bucharest and a big victory with FC Sevilla which sent them to Europa League where they meet this unbeatable Liverpool.
