Mbombela Stadium is smallest stadium which will host this year games at World Cup 2010 in South Africa. It’s capacity is 43,589. The stadium is located six km west Nelspruit.
Mbombela Stadium was built in almost three years (between February 2007 and November 2009) and its cost is evaluated at 140 million dollars.
It is sized for Rugby and Football (100mx70m and 105mx68m) because it will be used for both: Rugby and Football (In South Africa rugby is more popular than Football).
The roof was designed to maximise sunlight to the pitch and it covers 94% of seats.

An important information for those who will be there: Kruger National Park is close to Mbombela Stadium’s location. It will be a good idea to visit it two.
