Moses Mabhida Stadium is a newly built stadium in South Africa, located in Durban which will host games at World Cup 2010.
Total cost of this construction was estimated at 3,4 billion ZAR or 450 million USD.
At this World Cup 2010, the stadium’s capacity will be over 70.000 seats, but after that on regular games the capacity will be decreased to 54000. However, Moses Mabhida Stadium is designed to support up to 80.000 in future (in competitions such as Olympic Games).
This year it will host 5 matches in first phase of the competition, and two other in following stages (one round two and a semi-final). These are the games:
