South Korea beat Greece in first match of Group B, with an unexpected score 2-0.

One goal was scored in first half by J. Lee very early (min. 6). Second goal was scored by Korean star Ji-Sung Park a few minutes later after the break.

For Greece this is a big punch which put them out of the South African Competition almost for sure. Like i’ve already said, after first goal, it is very hard to believe that Greece can obtain at last 4 points from the following two games: with Argentina and with Nigeria. Without that 4 points, Greeks are going home after group stage.

The result is more embarrassment if we add the fact that Greece didn’t manage to score any goal in his entire history at a World Cup Tournament. After this results, it is possible to dream another 4 years for a goal.
