Mexico was defeated by Ecuador 1-2 in an international friendly football game.

Christian Benitez (40 sec) and Jaime Ayovi (58’) scored for Ecuador while Mexico equalized temporally 1-1 by Luis Checa (own goal in the 40th minute).

It was a good success for Ecuador.
